What the app accesses

With your permission, the app connects to your Google account using Google's official sign-in and requests read-only access to your Google Calendar through the calendar.readonly scope.

• Your list of calendars, including their names and colors
• Your calendar events: titles, dates, times, and colors

The app cannot create, edit, or delete events, and cannot access anything outside Google Calendar.

How your data is used

Event data is used for exactly one purpose: displaying your calendar in the app and its home screen widget. Events are cached in the app's private storage on your device so the widget can render without a network connection.

What we don't do

• We do not operate any servers.
• Your calendar data is never uploaded to us.
• We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to anyone.
• We do not use your data for advertising or analytics.
• We do not access your data ourselves; it flows directly between Google and your device.

Google API Services disclosure

Lilac Calendar's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.

Data storage and retention

Your Google sign-in token and cached events are stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. Deleting the app removes all of it. Signing out within the app removes the stored token.

Revoking access

You can revoke the app's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions . The app will no longer be able to read your calendar after revocation.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a revised date.
