Google user data the app accesses

With your permission, Lilacal: Calendar Widget connects to your Google account using Google Sign-In and requests read-only access to Google Calendar through the calendar.readonly scope.

The app may access:

• Your list of calendars, including calendar names and colours
• Calendar event titles, dates, times, and colours

Lilacal: Calendar Widget cannot create, edit, or delete Google Calendar events. It does not request access to data outside Google Calendar.

How Google user data is used

Google Calendar data is used only to display your calendars and events inside Lilacal: Calendar Widget and its home screen widgets.

Calendar data may be cached in the app's private storage on your device so the app and widgets can continue displaying your calendar when a network connection is unavailable.

Google user data is not used for advertising, analytics, profiling, marketing, or artificial intelligence or machine learning model training.

Data security

Google Calendar data is transmitted directly between Google and your device using encrypted HTTPS connections.

Your Google authentication credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain, marked so that they are available only after the device has been unlocked at least once and are excluded from device backups. Cached calendar data is stored in the app's private storage, protected by the application sandboxing and device security mechanisms provided by iOS.

Lilacal: Calendar Widget does not operate external servers or databases that receive, process, or store your Google Calendar data.

Data sharing and disclosure

• Lilacal: Calendar Widget does not sell Google user data.
• Lilacal: Calendar Widget does not share Google user data with advertisers.
• Lilacal: Calendar Widget does not transfer Google user data to third parties.
• Lilacal: Calendar Widget does not upload Google user data to its developer.

Google Calendar data flows directly between Google and your device and is used only for the app's calendar-display functionality.

Purchases

Lilacal: Calendar Widget offers optional paid features. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. The app does not receive, see, or store your payment details, and no Google user data is involved in a purchase.

Data retention

Google Calendar data is cached locally on your device for as long as Lilacal: Calendar Widget remains installed and the cached data is needed to display your calendar in the app and widgets.

Google authentication credentials are also stored locally on your device so the app can maintain your signed-in session and request updated calendar information.

Lilacal: Calendar Widget does not retain copies of your Google user data on any external server or database.

Data deletion

Signing out of Lilacal: Calendar Widget asks Google to revoke the app's authorization, deletes your stored Google authentication credentials from the Keychain, and clears the locally cached calendar data used by the app and its widgets.

To remove everything else the app has stored on your device, delete the app.

Because Lilacal: Calendar Widget does not store Google user data on external servers or databases, there is no server-side copy of your Google user data to delete.

Revoking Google account access

In addition to signing out in the app, you can revoke Lilacal: Calendar Widget's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions.

After access is revoked, Lilacal: Calendar Widget will no longer be able to retrieve new information from your Google Calendar.

Revoking access from the Google Account page does not by itself remove calendar data already cached on your device. Sign out in the app, or delete the app, to remove it.

Google API Services disclosure

Lilacal: Calendar Widget's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Children's privacy

Lilacal: Calendar Widget is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised last-updated date.
